ChildFirst Expanded Forensic Interview Process

Forensic Interview Peer Review Facilitated by ChildFirst Georgia Faculty

ChildFirst

Expanded Forensic Interview Process

Based on the nationally-recognized ChildFirst® Forensic Interview Protocol, this hands-on course provides instruction for forensic interviewers and other members of the multidisciplinary team on a defensible process for conducting interviews with children who may not succeed in a standard, single interview due to trauma, developmental or other complicating issues, including extensive polyvictimization. The ChildFirst® Protocol is a research-based protocol developed in consensus with expert researchers and practitioners from 20 states and two countries, and complements the interviewer’s practice and understanding of other nationally-recognized forensic interviewing protocols. Training will include lecture, skill-building exercises and review of recorded interviews.

Intended Audience
This training is ideally suited for professionals with interviewing experience who have successfully completed training in the ChildFirst®Forensic Interview Protocol or similar protocol.
