Multidisciplinary Team

Enhance collaboration among professionals from child protection, law enforcement, legal, medical, and mental health systems.

(MDT)

Multidisciplinary Team

The purpose of a Multiple Disciplinary team is to enhance collaboration among professionals from child protection, law enforcement, legal, medical, and mental health systems. In the neutral setting of the CAC, team members can collaborate on strategies that will assist investigators and prosecutors without creating further trauma for the child. This approach significantly increases the likelihood of a successful outcome in the judicial system and long-term healing for the crime victims.
